Do I need to book?

Do I need to be an experienced cyclist?

Some cycling experience and a moderate level of fitness is required.  We ride at a leisurely pace ensuring that the group remains together which also gives you plenty of opportunity to take in the sights.We stop regularly for photo opportunities and at numerous sights and locations where you have an to opportunity rest if required. Please speak to our staff if you have concerns about your fitness level.

What should I wear?

Please wear comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes. Many photo opportunities are available throughout the tour so don’t forget your phone/camera! We also suggest you bring a water bottle and a small amount of money for any additional purchases.

What age are your tours suitable for?

Our tours are suitable for all ages! 

*Please note that our bikes are designed for guests taller than 5 foot- If you require bikes for younger kids, please contact our staff to arrange Children's bikes.

It is raining. Is my tour still on?

Our tours are an all-weather event.  No refunds will be provided if it is raining but the tour is deemed safe to operate by our staff.    We will endeavor to reschedule you if you wish but same day cancellations are non-refundable.  If you need to cancel your tour entirely, see our cancellation policy by clicking the link below.

Can I bring my own bike?

Of course! but make sure it is roadworthy, as our guides are only trained to fix our bikes.

What if I have a problem with my bike on tour?

Our guides are trained to fix small problems on the go, and if its a more serious problem, our support vehicle will attend.

How safe are the tours? Are you insured?

Our staff are fully trained in first aid and CPR, and our guides are fully trained in cycle safety. The tours do go on the road, however our routes are designed so that most of the time we are in quiet back streets and on cycle paths. At the start of the tour, you will be given a full safety briefing, and your guide will always be on hand to help and make you feel as comfortable as possible.

And yes we are a fully licensed and insured company.

What languages do you offer tours in?

Our tours are run in English as standard. We offer touring in French during July and August (staff permitting)

Do I have to wear a helmet?

Yes- due to our insurance, all participants must where a helmet while on tour.

Do you run private tours? Offer group discounts?
